Remember Jared from the Subway ads back in the day? Well in real life, Jared Fogle, is under investigation after he was the target of a law enforcement raid at his home. Click through to read the latest updates in the case.
Authorities were seen at Fogle’s home in Zionsville, Indiana on July 7 removing electronics for an investigation after Fogle’s executive director for the Jared Foundation, Russell Taylor, was arrested for child pornography in May. Fogle has not been arrested or charged with any crime.
Subway immediately reacted to the news, saying that they had “mutually agreed to suspend their relationship” with Fogle “due to the current investigation,” and that both sides agreed “that this was the appropriate step to take.” Fogle’s role in Syfy’s Sharknado 3 was cut Thursday amid the scandal. He had previously appeared in the film, Sharknado 2: The Second One.

According to reports, Fogle, now 37, ran a porn rental service from his dorm room at Indiana University. “His porn collection was vast and extensive, and Fogle took his business pretty seriously,” according to VH1’s Best Week Ever.
Fogle, who was good friends with his foundation head, immediately distanced himself from Taylor following his May arrest, saying in a statement: “I was shocked to learn of the allegations against Mr. Taylor and effective immediately, the Jared Foundation is severing all ties with Mr. Taylor.”
The latest news is that a woman who was close to Fogle reportedly went to the FBI after the former Subway spokesperson made inappropriate comments about minor and wore a wire before his home was raided.
