The Real host Jeannie Mai showed off the results of her home makeover in a YouTube video on Wednesday, July 24. The TV personality enlisted the help of interior designer Kahi Lee to "de-spouse" her house and give it a fresh vibe following her divorce from Freddy Harteis.
Jeannie, 40, explained that she didn't want the residence to be a constant reminder of her failed relationship.
"I was here for six years when I was married. I recently got divorced — congratulate me. Now I’m in a house that is a reminder of my entire marriage and I need to move on … I need to evolve," Jeannie said in the clip.
"So you want to de-spouse this house?" Kahi asked. "What she said!" Jeannie quipped.

The Holey Moley host revealed that she opted for rustic decor to make her former spouse more comfortable in Los Angeles, but she wanted something a little more modern and sleek now that she's single.
"I want to go more grown; more sexy; a little S&M meets glam," the Bay Area native confessed.
She added, "I just want the house to look sexy. Like you can look at it and be like, 'I could have sex there, and there and there.'"
