Less than two weeks after the video of Ben Affleck groping TRL star Hilarie Burton resurfaced, followed by his subsequent apology, the actress’s husband Jeffrey Dean Morgan has finally spoken out.
In the flurry of new sexual allegations against defamed movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, Ben’s former misconduct around Hilarie has fallen to the wayside.
But at the 100th episode celebration of the hit series The Walking Dead, Jeffrey took the time to speak out about the Oscar winner’s apology to his wife and the state of Hollywood.
“I don’t want to make a big deal of it because she didn't,” he told Entertainment Tonight, “but I think everything that's come out in the last couple of weeks, starting with Harvey Weinstein—anybody who has talked about it and even those who haven't yet are incredibly brave and I think it's time for change.”
He continued, “It's prevalent all over and I'm proud of all these women. All women and my wife.”

In the midst of all the drama, the former One Tree Hill actress is expecting the couple’s second child, a baby girl, which has made Jeffrey even prouder of his wife.
“She is the most amazing person I've ever met,” he gushed. “You said, she's a bit of a role model for you -- she is for me as well. There's no one stronger than her. How she's able to balance all the things that she balances and be a strong voice for good is amazing and I just couldn't be more proud.”
