Jenelle Evans’ fate is in the hands of the jury! The Teen Mom 2 star will appear in court to fight her assault and battery charges after she was arrested for throwing a glass at her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith’s girlfriend Jessica Henry on August 20.
The 23-year-old’s attorney requested a jury trial for the case. “The case will automatically come to jury court,” the Administrator for the Horry County jail court told RadarOnline. “A notice will be sent to Jenelle and her attorney in the mail notifying them of the date of the trail. It will be sometime next year.”
But will their request for a jury work in their favor? The officer who wrote the police report confessed that he did not believe Jenelle’s side of the story.

According to the police report, Evans “stated that she walked outside and the victim got out of the truck. The arrestee claimed that she was in fear, so she threw water at the victim and the jar slipped from her hand. The arrestee stated that the victim caught the jar and threw it back at the arrestee, striking her back and then broke.”
But the officer believed the mother-of-two was never hit with the glass. “This would have made the broken glass somewhere farther in the driveway,” the report read. “I looked and did not observe any redness or any other injury to the arrestee’s back.”
