'Teen Mom 2' Cast Reacts To MTV FIRING Jenelle Evans After David Eason Dog Killing Scandal

On Tuesday, May 7th, MTV announced that they have cut ties with Jenelle after almost a decade of working together.
“MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since,” an MTV spokesperson said in a statement. “Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”
Since the announcement, Jenelle's now former costars have taken to social media with their reactions.
Leah Messer tweeted, "ANYONE that condones/contributes/doesn’t PREVENT or STOP animal cruelty or the murder of an innocent animals life is SICK & I REFUSE to be affiliated with! I want to sympathize for my former cast mate but at this point I can’t. ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!"
She continued, "My heart was broken when I heard what happened to Nugget. I’ve been overwhelmed with messages and comments and didn’t know how to address the situation. I could NEVER support or condone animal cruelty!! I just started crying when I came home to my dog."
"I just looked at him/Champ and asked myself.. How could someone be so mean spirited!? I stand with allll of our fans!!!! #JusticeForNugget ???," she concluded her message.
Leah's ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, replied, "Tell em girl!"

In another tweet Jeremy wrote, "Uh oh reality hitting hard tonight in North Carolina!"
Jenelle's only friend from the series, Briana DeJesus, tweeted a cryptic message.
"Wow," she wrote on Twitter.
Chelsea Houska has yet to comment on Jenelle's firing, but her dad, Randy, did!
He tweeted, "I certainly think it was far past due, and that they really drug their a** is doing it."
He continued, "But I worry for the kids, and since we’ve been in this for 10 years together, I worry about Jenelle."
Cheyenne Floyd, the newest member of Teen Mom OG, spoke about Jenelle and her safety.
She tweeted, "As someone who grew up loving animals, I do not condone animal cruelty. Continually praying for the safety and livelihood of Jenelle and her children, I hope she reaches out and gets the support she needs."
