Jenelle Evans Announces Her Contract With MTV Ends In April

Jenelle Evans is officially done with MTV! The fired Teen Mom 2 star revealed that her contract with the network is coming to an end.
"I'm officially out of contract with MTV in April," Jenelle told E! News. "That was the only thing I was waiting on to move forward. Once April comes around, I can start talking to other networks, thank God!"
According to a source, the mother of three and MTV "have been going back and forth for months about where she stands with returning to MTV and the Teen Mom franchise." Adding, "MTV told Jenelle her contract with them is over for good in April. Jenelle won't be renewed come April. This is the final word from MTV. Contractually she can't officially pursue opportunities with other networks until then."
As previously reported, MTV parted ways with the reality star after 10 years of working together in May 2019, just weeks after her estranged husband David Eason shot and killed their dog. Within weeks, CPS removed all of the children in their home and they eventually regained custody in early July 2019.

Back in February 2018, MTV cut ties with her then husband David after he went on a homophobic Twitter rant.
In October 2019, Jenelle announced that she left David after 2 years of marriage. Days after the bombshell, she filed for a restraining order against him for herself, as well as her three children. However, in January 2020 it was dropped and the two were spotted together in Nashville.
