Courtroom Showdown! Jenelle Evans Reveals She's 'Ready' To Fight Mother Barbara Over Custody Of Jace

It's a mother-daughter showdown! Jenelle Evans is preparing to fight her own mother, Barbara Evans, in court over custody of her 7-year-old son, Jace.

“We haven’t even had, like, one real court date trial for Jace’s case,” Jenelle told Us Weekly. “It’s been going for a year and a half and my lawyer has been going to court for me and my mom’s lawyer has been continuing it. She continued it three different times, hopefully we get this all resolved in October when the court date comes.”

As fans may know, Jenelle gave her mother custody of Jace when her life was unstable. However, fast forward to 2016 and this soon-to-be mother-of-three is ready to have him back.

Even though the 25-year-old is ready to have him back, she thinks Barbara might be "too attached" to him to let go. “I mean, I don’t understand what the issue is with him being back with me and I don’t see what the big deal is. But I think she’s just making up excuses because she’s attached,” she said. “Like right now, if I bring it up to her she’s like, ‘Well let’s see what the judge says, well let’s see what the judge says.’ So she won’t even discuss it with me.”

As Jenelle waits to go to court she said that she's "ready" and "prepared!"

The Teen Mom 2 star recently announced that she is expecting a little girl in January with her boyfriend, David Eason.
