Calling It Quits? Jennifer Aniston Ruins Special Weekend For Justin Theroux

Theroux recently celebrated his friend Orlando Bloom's 40th birthday party in Palm Springs, California, at a bash thrown by Bloom's girlfriend Katy Perry. The star was letting loose, at one point taking off his shirt and posing for Instagram, according to Life & Style.

"The boys were having a blast," the insider told the magazine. "Justin was animated and chatting with everybody."

But apparently the whole mood changed once Aniston was around. "The moment Jen was there, Justin would go quiet," the source revealed. "He got very somber. He wasn't having any fun at all when he was with her. It was supposed to be a special trip, but she was ruining it for him."

"Jen and Justin were fighting all weekend about how controlling she is," the source said. "They do everything to keep up appearances, but he knows things have been bad for too long."

The couple has apparently been at odds since their wedding in August 2015, with insiders describing Aniston as a tightly wound Hollywood-type and Theroux as more of a free spirit.

The couple's dirty laundry was on full display at Bloom's Palm Springs party according to onlookers. "She was very difficult," the insider said of Aniston. "Every plan needed to be run by Jen."

At one point in the day, Theroux wanted to go with Perry to a private show by artist Sham Ibrahim. Aniston didn't like the idea at all and made him go home with her instead.

Theroux's friends couldn't believe Aniston's behavior. "It seemed like any time he wanted to have fun," a source said, "she'd pout or get angry."

Everyone seems tired of Aniston's high maintenance attitude. "Everyone has to treat her like she's the main event," a source said, "and wait on her hand and foot."

The Friends star also has a nasty jealous streak. She hates the fact that Theroux is so close with his ex of 14 years Heidi Bivens. She's even suspicious of his friendship with comedian Amy Sedaris. "She doesn't want him to have any girl friends," the source said.

But Theroux is fighting back. "He just can't take her monitoring his life anymore," the source revealed. "They aren't happy. All their friends are saying enough is enough."
