The rumors were true! On June 30, just one day after their tenth anniversary, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have officially announced that they are getting divorced after a decade of marriage and three children together.
"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the couple said in a statement to E! News. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time."
While sad, the news is perhaps not that surprising, as moving trucks were spotted outside the couple’s home on Father’s Day. They’ve also been putting on a united front lately for paparazzi despite weeks of divorce speculation.
The couple has three children, Violet, 9, Serafina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
