Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’ week of birthday celebrations continues! After a seemingly endless number of parties for Jennifer, who turned 48 on Monday and celebrated with a VIP a weekend bash and a backyard pool party with her family, it was finally time to put the focus on Alex. The former New York Yankees player turned 42 on Thursday, and the couple celebrated with a romantic but low-key night out at The Grill in in Manhattan. Alex looked sleek in a grey suit, while J. Lo. was unusually covered up in green pants and a large white sweater.
Jen’s look marked a serious departure from the see-through, black dress she wore for her own birthday last weekend!
Maybe she decided to take the attention off herself on Alex’s big day. Judging by her Instagram post, Jen is seriously smitten with her new man.

“Happy Birthday to the man who makes my heart skip a beat every time he walks in the room,” she wrote.
A-Rod was just as gushing toward Jen on her birthday. “Wish a happy birthday to this amazing human being who lights up my world every day,” he wrote on Instagram.
