Jennifer Lopez is no stranger to scary shootings, but a real-life shootout on the set of her cop drama Shades of Blue has left the cast and crew “shaken.”

Deadline reported that “shots were fired” between men in Brooklyn on the NBC film set where the show, which stars JLo and Ray Liotta, was being filmed on Oct. 12.

According to the report, Lopez had left for the day and was not present during the time of the shootout. However, actress Kathryn Kates was there when the pandemonium occurred.

“We heard a commotion outside, then banging on my door and female voices pleading to let them in,” she said in a statement. “The 2 PA’s rushed in saying they were being threatened and, had she not locked the door, whomever was outside would have gotten in. The people outside started banging on my door.”

Kates said she was taken to a secure location immediately and the website reported that cast and crew are safe but "shaken," according to Deadline.

The NYPD did not comment on the event, telling Fox News that authorities never received a report on the shooting. NBC said "everyone was fine and we were good to go we continued filming."
