Jennifer Lopez, who grew up in the Bronx, made a surprise appearance at a screening of her new film Second Act on her home turf. The star attended the event with her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez. Scroll through to get all the details.
J. Lo took to her Instagram Story to document the epic surprise. "#TheBronx #Secondact, December 21st," she captioned the video, reminding her fans of the film's release date.
Vanessa Hudgens, who plays Zoe in the film, was also at the venue helping the 49-year-old debut Second Act in her hometown.
It seems like it's the week of surprise-and-delight moments. While promoting the movie on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night, Jennifer's other co-star, Milo Ventimiglia, jokingly ambushed her on stage while she was playing a game of “Can You Feel It."

Later, Jennifer and Alex were photographed in Manhattan walking into BLT Steak house for a romantic dinner date.
The "Jenny from the Block" singer wore a suede, camel dress, with matching over-the-knee boots and a cute hat to keep warm. She accessorized with her signature gold hoops and a brown and black Fendi fur jacket. The former Yankees player opted to wear a grey turtleneck, grey slacks, and a long, black pea coat.
