Which Original Cast Member Isn’t Returning For The ‘Jersey Shore’ Revival?

Get ready to “fist pump” all over again!  Jersey Shore is returning in 2018 after six incredibly successful seasons that ran between 2009-2012.  All of the original cast is back, except for one crucial character.  Who decided to not put on “the shirt before the shirt” and join on on the revival?  Click-through for the juicy details!

The new show is called Jersey Shore Family Vacation and it will premiere next year.  The lineup includes everyone from Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Vinny Guadagnino, Jenni “JWOWW" Farley, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio and Deena Nicole Cortese.  That leaves one cast member noticeably absent from the re-up…

Where is Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola? Sammi was a vital part to the show’s original success, as her fights with ex-boyfriend Ronnie and JWOWW helped make it legendary in many different ways.  She isn't listed as part of the cast for the upcoming series. 

Snooki and JWOWW shared the exciting news on their Instagrams, with the former captioning the post with "WELP. We’re back 2018!! Thanks to the fans !!!!!!!! ???????????????? #JERSEYSHORE.”

JWOWW couldn’t contain her excitement about the revival as well, saying "Gotta teach these young ones ??????”.  

Vinny also got in on the action about going back to find some new “grenades,” saying "Hide yo wife, hide yo kids..Did someone say there’s a new #JerseyShore series coming out in 2018 on @mtv ?! The people have spoken and We finna #MakeRealityTvGreatAgain . Can’t wait to be back on your tv screen wit my roomates!!!!!”

Since the show ended, a lot has changed for the cast members lives, mostly for the positive.  Snooki, Pauly D and JWOWW all had kids, Deena just got married (with most of her Jersey Shore cast to celebrate her big day), whereas some of the guys went on to date some pretty famous women in the industry like Pauly D with Aubrey O’Day and Ronnie briefly dating Khloe Kardashian’s BFF Malika Haqq. 

Will the Family Vacation be much different from their days on Jersey Shore now that some of them are married, have kids, and are in different stages of their lives?
