Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is doing everything he can to ensure things work out between him and his baby mama Jen Harley! On last night’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, the new dad even admitted he and his estranged girlfriend get couples therapy “seven hours” a a day.
During Thursday night’s episode, Ronnie surprised everyone when he showed up to Deena Cortese’s gender reveal party. The cast assumed Ronnie would be a no-show due to events in his personal life.
Prior to the party, Ron was injured when Jen allegedly dragged him with her car. He sent the roommates pics of his bloody arm, and he missed out on the cast’s trip to Seaside, New Jersey, where they spent at night at their famous Shore house. Jen was arrested following the altercation.
“Last time we talked to Ron, he got run over by Jen in a car and he was in the hospital,” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi said. “He didn’t come to Seaside. All of us are concerned about Ron, we don’t know what’s going on with him. But he’s our family, he’s our brother, and we just want to make sure he’s okay.”
When Ron unexpectedly walked into Deena’s party, Vinny Guadagnino joked it was “like seeing Bigfoot,” while Snooki said it was like “seeing a ghost.” Vinny and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino tried asking Ron what happened with Jen.
“I got out of the car, she drove off, maybe — I think I grabbed onto the door and I fell. It was just a bunch of unfortunate events, bro,” he said. “We’re going to do some couples therapy. Seven hours of therapy a day. It’s like school and then you take the f**king final.”
While Mike and Vinny tried to be supportive, they both admitted they thought it was a bad idea for Ron to stay with Jen. “What the f**k is this kid doing?” Vinny asked in the confessional. “I’m honestly scared. Because this is a serious thing. Like, Jen literally is dragging Ronnie with a car and she went to jail. So that whole situation terrifies me.”
