Jessica Simpson was definitely looking “Irresistible” on Friday as she rocked a beautiful yellow dress to the 40th Annual Outstanding Mother Awards in New York.
Not only was she an attendee at the awards, taken place at the Pierre New York Hotel, but she was also honored there as well!
She looked smashing in her long-sleeved yellow dress, complimented with a pair of gold heels for the big evening.
Jessica spoke to Entertainment Tonight about parenthood with her husband Eric Johnson and the joys of raising their two children: daughter Maxwell, 6, and son Ace, 4.

"The fact that people think I'm doing a pretty good job as a mother is the best compliment,” she said. "The most rewarding part of being a mother is really just watching my kids grow. It's like, how much knowledge they have about life is just so meaningful to me, and how much heart they put into everything they do. There's just nothing like the innocence of a child.”
So are they planning to expand? Right now, it looks like a no. "I think that because my daughter just turned six, I was thinking, ‘Hmmm, maybe I should do that all over again?’ and then I got overwhelmed by that statement, so I’m just going to appreciate my son — he just turned five,” she told Extra. "Maybe we’ll just get a dog.”
