Things are not going well for Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson, and they’ve been fighting more than ever recently — find out why!

Their problems began around the holiday season, as a source told OK! exclusively, Jessica would “run herself ragged getting ready for Christmas, with no help from Eric.” And that was just the beginning of their marital issues.

In addition to Jessica doing the bulk of the work, they’ve also been going back-and-forth over Eric’s lack of employment. Though he was once a former NFL tight end, he ended his career with the New Orleans Saints in 2008.

Since then, it’s unclear what he’s been doing to bring money into the home. Not that Jessica needs it, with an empire brand that has over $1 billion in annual sales.

A source told OK! that Eric’s unemployment is an ongoing issue for Jess, and she is “sick of juggling work and the kids while he golfs.”

But Eric disagrees, and feels like he’s the one carrying the weight. “He says he’s the one playing Mr. Mom because she’s always working out or at a business meeting,” said the insider.
