Jessica Simpson’s recent antics reportedly have her family on edge, with a source revealing that the singer is now being urged to enroll in rehab for her “substance-abuse” issues.
“She has a substance-abuse problem,” a source told In Touch.
“She’s taking Adderall and anti-anxiety pills. And on top of that, she drinks,” the insider continued.
The insider detailed that Jessica’s sister, Ashlee Simpson, husband, Eric Johnson, and parents, Joe Simpson and Tina Simpson, are all telling her to get help.

“They’ve known for a while that she has a problem,” the source said. However, the source added that Jessica’s “wasted” appearance on HSN “was a huge wakeup call.” But her team and HSN continue to claim she was completely sober during the show!
“Whenever they’ve talked about her drinking in the past, Jessica would deny it — and since she supports everyone financially, no one pushed her,” the source said. And the insider said the family is now researching at-home programs that will allow Simpson privacy while she recovers.
“The family is already looking into in-home recovery programs and high-profile rehab centers,” the source said. “They’re leaning toward in-home, because they know Jessica will never agree to be separated from her children. Everyone is hoping that if they find the perfect option, Jessica will finally accept the help she needs.” Do you think Jessica Simpson needs professional help?
