Derick Dillard Noticeably Absent From Jill Duggar’s Family Reunion Pic

Jill Duggar spent the weekend without her husband Derick Dillard by her side! The former Counting On star posed for a rare family reunion picture with her siblings and their spouses on Monday, Nov. 5, but Jill’s hubby was no where to be seen.

In the pic, which Jill’s sister Jinger posted on Instagram, several Duggar couples can be seen, including Joseph and Kendra Duggar, Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth, and Jinger and her husband Jeremy Vuolo. The family was most likely in town for John-David’s Nov. 3 wedding to Abbie Burnett.

Jill is also in the photo, smiling with her nephew Gideon Forsyth in her arms, but her husband Derick and their own two kids Israel and Samuel are noticeably absent. “And where is good ‘ole Derick??” a fan asked. “Where’s Izzy and Sam?” asked another.

Some fans guessed Derick may have had to skip out on the family event because he’s in law school and has a demanding schedule. However, Derick has reportedly not been on the best of terms with his in-laws since his transphobic Twitter comments got him kicked off the family’s show Counting On.

In August, a source close to the family told RadarOnline.com that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar had confronted Derick about his social media behavior. “Everything that Derick has said has caused the family bad press,” the source told the site. “They don’t like what he is doing.”

Also absent from the pic was Jessa Duggar, even though her husband was there, but fans guessed she was taking the pic. The Duggars’ disgraced eldest sibling Josh Duggar, whose molestation scandal got the family’s show 19 Kids & Counting cancelled, was also not present for the pic.
