OK! Exclusive: Behind the Scenes at Jill Zarin's Luxury Ladies Luncheon

OKMagazine.com was so excited to receive an exclusive invitation to Jill Zarin's beautiful Southampton home for her first ever Luxury Ladies Luncheon. It was a fabulous afternoon of shopping, treats by David Burke (soon to be seen on Top Chef Masters), pampering and gifts with Jill and her celebrity guests (such as Christie Brinkley and Patti Stanger). We caught up with Jill to give us all the details—and tons of photos—from her special day!

On How The Event Came to Life: "I love gifting suites and always wanted to share that experience with my friends. I wanted to charge sponsors to be there and donate 75 luxury items to each guest—some amazing gifts I might add including a $500 gift certificate to Dr. Neil Sadik and a $300 Cashmere scarf gift wrapped from Sarah Pachini," says Jill.

An Charitable Affair: "I wanted to raise money for a very worthy charity, The Eric Trump Foundation for St. Jude's Hospital, because they never refuse a patient who can't pay. I consider myself a connector and thought, 'Why not have a Ladies Luxury Luncheon and do it all?'"

Bravo BFFs "The night before the event, I had 15 people sleeping over on every couch in the house! Patti Stanger, of The Millionaire Matchmaker, flew in from LA and it was like a giant slumber party in my bed. Patti and I were tweeting photos ALL NIGHT LONG! When she left for the airport Sunday morning, I got really sad. She is like a sister to me and I miss her when she leaves."

On the Money Raised: "The event definitely cost much more than we budgeted because of the rain and the level of luxury we wanted to provide everyone—including a luxury bus to bring guests and press from the city for the day! With that said, the final numbers are not in yet but they will definitely be happy!"

On Her Daughter Allyson "Allyson graduates in 2014 from Vanderbilt. As a mother, I could not be more proud of the choices she has made on her own to get her where she is today."

On Throwing the Best Bash: "I always get a little sad the day after any big event I throw. The adrenaline stops rushing and everyone has left. I'm actually thinking of writing a book on how to throw the perfect party. I think the most imprtant element is the invitation. The food is most important and if you are creative you don't need to spend alot of money on food or decor! I can show you how!"

The Highlight of the Day "I am so proud of my daughter Allyson and they way I watched her network the room. She fell in love with Miss USA Nana Meriwether and they set up coffee for this week. She is definitely her mother's daughter!"

On Big Things Ahead "Based on the success of my Luxury Ladies Luncheon, I am thinking of doing something entirely different at the end of the summer that I hope is as well received. Stay tuned....this housewife is not retiring yet!"

On Missing the Reality Cameras: "This would have been a great episode! Countess Luann de Lesseps and Aviva Drescher were both here as well as RHONJ's Kathy Wakile and her beautiful daughter Victoria and hot hubby Richie! I wonder sometimes why they made the cuts they made but you never know what the future holds.
