John, 65, was all smiles before walking inside the venue wearing a classic black suit with a black t-shirt and dress shoes.
Ella, 19, kept her look conservative and matched her father in a black ankle-length dress with a black blazer.
She wore brown sandals and kept her dark hair pulled back into a low ponytail.

Once inside, the father daughter duo talked to guest host Lena Waithe about a variety of topics including John's new haircut, Ella's childhood in Hollywood, being embarrassed by her father in front of heartthrob Taylor Lautner and their upcoming film, The Poison Rose.
