Johnny Galecki is mourning the loss of his California home today. In an epic fire that swept through over 1,500 acres, the Big Bang Theory star’s San Luis Obispo ranch was destroyed. According to KSBY, the flames began as two separate fires, which eventually merged into what is now being called “the Hill Fire.” The site reports that nearly 250 people have been evacuated from the area, according to sheriff’s officials. As of Tuesday evening, CAL FIRE said 60 percent of the fire had been contained.

"It's never the structures that create a community — it’s the people,” Johnny continued. “And if the people of Santa Margarita have taught me anything it's that, once the smoke has cleared, literally and figuratively, it's a time to reach out and rebuild.”
