Jon Gosselin is making a big change regarding one of his children — he has filed for full custody of his troubled teen son Collin. Read on for all the details.
Two years ago, Kate Gosselin revealed to Radaronline.com that Collin was living away from home and in a living facility specifically for kids with “special needs.”
Though she didn’t go into more detail, she told People at the time, “There’s a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. This has been a struggle we’ve had for a very long time, and it’s one I’ve dealt with on my own.”
However, according to court documents obtained by Radar, her ex-husband has now filed for full and physical custody of 14-year-old Collin.

According to the papers, the former reality star and his lawyers claim that it would be best for the teen to live with Jon once he’s released from the inpatient center. If approved, Collin will join his sister Hannah, also 14, who started living full-time with their dad last spring.
This news comes just days after Jon posted a picture of himself with Collin and Hannah. Under a snap of the trio, Jon wrote, “Had a good weekend visit with Collin at home!”
