The title of the Freeform comedy is "Only Human" and deals with issues of mental health.
Jordyn, 21, portrays a freshman named Dee who engages in an open discussion about mental health awareness with her fellow students.
In the clip, Jordyn's character speaks up about struggling with stress and feeling isolated.
"There's so much pressure between trying to keep my grades up and missing my family," Dee says in the scene.
"You don't think you should talk to a counselor or a therapist?" another student asks her.
"I did that. It was a joke. Like, a two-week wait for a 15 minute appointment with some old white lady telling me I look like some actress named Jackée Harry," Dee explains to her friends in her dorm hall.
Grown-ish airs Wednesday nights on Freeform.
