Judge Jerry Springer Is Officially A Go! TV Host Lands New Show

It’s only been four months since production of Jerry Springer’s iconic talk show was halted, but he’s already nabbed a brand new gig. The TV host confirmed to Access Hollywood Live that he’ll be back on the air in no time. Read on for all the details.
“Starting next fall I’m gonna be Judy Jerry, we’re doing a court show,” he told the hosts.
He then joked that “50 years after graduating,” he’s finally putting his law degree to good use.
“For the first time in my life, people are going to call me ‘honorable,’” he quipped.

Last month, it was reported that NBCUniversal developed the new series that would have the 74-year-old make decisions in small claims cases. The show is slated for a fall 2019 start.
The former Cincinnati mayor’s previous series, The Jerry Springer Show, ran for almost 4,000 episodes over its 27-year run.
