The film, which costars Lucas Hedges and Courtney B. Vance, is a drama centered around the charming yet troubled character of Ben (Hedges), who returns home to his unsuspecting family one fateful Christmas Eve. She plays his wary mother in the movie, where her character of Holly realizes that her son is still very much in harms way and does everything she can over the course of 24 hours to avoid her family's downfall.
