Justin Bieber is caught up in Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun's epic feud and people are coming out of the woodwork to take sides. Ellen Page's wife Emma Portner, who choreographed Justin's 2016 Purpose world tour, took to Instagram on Tuesday, July 2, to slam the singer for "degrading women" and underpaying those that work for him.
"@JustinBieber I regret working under your name. I gave your universe my naive body, creativity, time, and effort. Twice. For content that you made millions off of. While I made zilch. Natta. Barely anything. Less than minimum wage for the hours I invested. I couldn't afford to eat. I was sweeping studio floors to be able to practice my craft," Emma, 24, wrote in a now-deleted Instagram story.
She continued, "The way you degrade women is an abomination. You continue to collaborate with overly problematic people. You religiously go to a church that does not support the LGBTQ+ community. Your company hired an out lesbian in your music video, and to choreograph some content for your Purpose world tour. How do you feel about that? A lesbian, HELPING YOU, for a disrespectful amount of money, as you attend a church that goes against my existence."
The Canadian dancer ended her rant by imploring JB to educate himself rather than blindly trust those in his inner circle.

"I can only hope for your enlightenment. That you read a ton of books. I will gladly purchase and send you some books that will change the way your traumatized brain thinks. You depend on proper guidance to move forward. I BEG that you find it. A straight white pastor/manager can't be your only major source of world view. I have so much to say but mostly ... I really hope you educate yourself beyond your Bible. You have IMMENSE power. Use it to STOP DEGRADING WOMEN. We should all be "checking on you" and Chris Brown because you both need to be held accountable," she concluded.
Her wife Ellen, 32, previously took issue with Justin's Hillsong church for their alleged anti-LGBTQ beliefs. "If you are a famous actor and you belong to an organization that hates a certain group of people, don't be surprised if someone simply wonders why it's not addressed. Being anti-LGBTQ is wrong, there aren't two sides. The damage it causes it severe. Full stop. Sending love to all," Ellen wrote in February 2019 on a clip of Chris Pratt, who also belongs to Hillsong.
Chris defended himself and his church on Instagram at the time, writing, "It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which ‘hates a certain group of people’ and is ‘infamously anti-LGBTQ.' Nothing could be further from the truth. I go to a church that opens their doors to absolutely everyone.”
