Justin Bieber’s Mom Says She ‘Loves’ Selena Gomez: ‘She’s Precious’

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez recently reunited after the latter split from boyfriend The Weeknd, and one person is already a fan of the reunion, Justin’s mom Pattie Mallette. The pop star’s mother revealed that while Justin hasn’t filled her in on exactly what the couple’s status is, she supports his decision to get close to Selena again.

“I don’t know so much about their personal relationship because he doesn’t share a whole lot, but I love her,” Pattie told People at the Justice Speaks Holiday Benefit Luncheon in L.A. on Saturday.

“I support anything he does, if he loves her I love her, and I’ve met her and we have a special bond so I think she’s precious,” Pattie added.

Selena and Justin have been spotted hanging out together a lot lately, especially at church. Pattie explained that Justin has been “keeping his focus on God” as he tries “to figure out what counts and what matters.”

“I think he’s trying to be somehow normal in such an abnormal world, trying to find that balance,” she said. “I feel like he’s growing up and I’m really proud of him.”

“I think anyone with real love in their life is more grounded,” Patti continued. “I think there’s so much confusion sometimes and facade in this Hollywood world, and so it’s important for us to find the ones that truly care and stick with them.”
