It's been a whirlwind weekend for Kaley Cuoco! The actress has responded and apologized for the photo she posted of her dogs this holiday weekend.
Kaley posted a photo of a heart with the U.S flag as the design and wrote an apology in the caption to her 2.7 million followers. "First off, please know, I have the utmost respect for my country. I am a proud American in every sense of the word," she wrote. "I understand the American flag stands for our freedom and represents American heroes , past and present."

In the photo, which has been deleted from her account, her dogs posed with patriotic accessories and under one of the dogs was a U.S flag.
