'I Am Not Perfect' Kaley Cuoco Responds To Backlash For The Controversial Photo Of Her Dogs Sitting On The American Flag!

It's been a whirlwind weekend for Kaley Cuoco! The actress has responded and apologized for the photo she posted of her dogs this holiday weekend.

Kaley posted a photo of a heart with the U.S flag as the design and wrote an apology in the caption to her 2.7 million followers. "First off, please know, I have the utmost respect for my country. I am a proud American in every sense of the word," she wrote. "I understand the American flag stands for our freedom and represents American heroes , past and present."

In the photo, which has been deleted from her account, her dogs posed with patriotic accessories and under one of the dogs was a U.S flag.

She admitted that she "made a mistake" posting the photo of her pups posing on the flag.

She continued, "I sincerely apologize to anyone that has been offended by my previous post. This is no way reflects my feelings toward what the American flag represents."

She began to explain that living her life in "the public eye can be extremely difficult at times" and that "every mistake and every imperfection is amplified." She added, "I am not perfect. I am a proud American, today, tomorrow, always."
