According to reports, the rapper, who just cancelled his Saint Pablo tour after weeks of acting oddly, including when he stopped his show after singing about North just days ago, was characterized as a "psychiatric emergency."

At the time of the 911 call, Kanye was at his trainer, Harly Pasternak’s home. It is unclear who made the call however.

“At 1:20 our officers responded to a call,” LAPD spokesperson Kevin Maiberger told RadarOnline.com. “We determined it was a medical emergency and did not require a police response and the Fire Department handled.”

However, Kanye was reportedly handcuffed to a stretcher for his own safety before being taken to UCLA Medical Center for a psychiatric evaluation. Kim Kardashian visited him before jetting back to Los Angeles.
