Jay Z performing with Kanye West on stage at Yankee Stadium, NY
Jay Z can't stand you, bruh! Kanye West lit a match beneath his former pal this week, after throwing serious shade during his latest Saint Pablo tour. But it turns out the mogul was never really that much of a Yeezy fan.
While performing in Seattle, Kanye spoke about Kim Kardashian's robbery after ranting about why he and Jay Z weren't on a recent Drake song. He seemed to be taking a dig at Hov, and said, “Don’t call me after the robbery and say, ‘How you feelin’?’ You wanna know how I’m feelin’? Come by the house . . . Bring the kids by the house like we brothers . . . Our kids ain’t never even played together.”
But there's a reason Blue Ivy and North will likely never be besties. “Jay can’t stand him,” a source told Page Six. “He looks at him as this crazy, eccentric motherf - - ker he can tolerate in small doses. Kanye is a nut job. Everyone knows that.”
It likely does not help matters that Kanye married Kim, and it seems after they started dating, Jay Z and Kanye stopped hanging out much. Jay Z reportedly declined to be Kanye's best man at his wedding, and they've only been spotted together a handful of times since.
And though they made an album together in 2011, called Watch the Throne, it was all about the benjamins for Jay. He “tolerated” Kanye because “there was so much money to be made. Jay was like, ‘I’m gonna knock this out. We’re going to do a tour to bring in millions of dollars. I can tolerate that,’ ” added the source.
