Kanye West may still be battling his demons, following his 2016 mental breakdown, but a source exclusively told OK! that he’s “pulled a Brad” and has found comfort in painting. Not only that, but it’s also getting his creative juices flowing! #NewMusic
“It all started with a painting session he had with his daughter North that he really got into it,” the insider dished.
“He’s now progressed from Crayola paints to proper oils and watercolor paint – and he’s had a string of art teachers come in and teach him new techniques,” said the source. “He’s convinced it’s helping him focus creatively.”
As OK! readers know, Kanye’s had a lot on his mind for the past few months, his marriage to Kim Kardashian is reportedly hanging by a thread and he’s been recovering from his breakdown last November, so he’s used painting as a way to escape.
“He’s turned a whole room in their mansion to an art studio,” the insider dished. “He’s really into it and will stay in the studio until the early hours of the morning. Kim’s found him asleep on the floor in there with paint all over him more than once.”
