After 12 years, the Kardashians will be closing all of their DASH stores throughout the country. And one former employee, and star of E!'s Dash Dolls, Durrani Popal, is speaking out on social media about the sudden closure. Click through for details!
Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé Kardashian are all walking away from their boutique line, which was made famous on the 2015 show Dash Dolls. Kim, 37, made the big announcement via her app and website on Thursday.
"After nearly 12 years, my sisters and I have decided to close the doors of our DASH stores," the KKW founder wrote. "We opened our first store as a family in 2006 and since then we have made so many lifelong memories. From opening locations in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, to having our Dash Dolls spin-off show, it’s been such a huge part of our lives.”
One former employee, Durrani, had a lot to say about the sudden closure. "Such a bitter sweet moment," she shared on Instagram. "Dash was such a big part of my life and still is. Even though I have moved on with my career, I am still known as the 'DASH DOLL.'" She went on to say that "not one day goes by where" she isn't "recognized as a 'dash doll,'" adding that she's "forever grateful for all the opportunities it has sprouted. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I never went to my interview in Calabasas, 7 years ago."

Explaining why they're closing all of the stores, Kim said the sisters have "all grown so much individually" and they've "been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families."
"We know in our hearts that it’s time to move on," she continued. "We love our DASH Dolls and are so grateful for the amazing memories — and we have to give a special thanks to the DASH employees and all of the incredible fans and customers who have supported us throughout the years! We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to everyone!"
