The fashion world is mourning the loss of an iconic designer. Karl Lagerfeld has passed away at the age of 85 years old on Tuesday February 19th in Paris.

According to reports, the creative director of Chanel reportedly was in bad health within the last few weeks. His cause of death is not known at the moment.
In late January 2019, Karl was absent from the Paris Chanel fashion show, fueling rumors about the designer's health. His team explained that he was not present due to exhaustion.
Over the years, Karl has made an unforgettable impact on the fashion world.

He was the creative director of Chanel since 1983 and then Fendi since 1965. He later found his own line.
Since the news broke of his death, fans as well as fellow designers have taken to social media to pay tribute to the icon.
"Karl your genius touched the lives of so many, especially Gianni and I. We will never forget your incredible talent and endless inspiration. We were always learning from you," Donatella Versace wrote.
