The celeb opened up to E! about the possibility of expanding her family at the Baby2Baby Gala—and her answer might surprise you!
"I would love to have a girl," explained the celeb. "I have some work coming up, though, so I can't right now," she continued.
Maybe we can expect another little one sometime in the future?
Kate Hudson is already a mom to two boys, 10-year-old Ryder, who she had with her ex-husband rocker Chris Robinson, and three-year-old Bingham who is her first child with fiancé Matt Bellamy.
And we believe Kate when she says she has work coming up! In addition to her movies and TV appearances, Kate has been busy over the past year promoting her new athletic wear collection, Fabletics, and her Ann Taylor partnership.

The star has also been very open about her kids and her relationship with her super famous mother, Goldie Hawn.
"You have to exhibit so much patience with your kids and accept them for who they are. Your kids come out who they are. Anything you’re expecting them to be is just not what it’s going to be. They say relationships are the mirror, but it’s really your kids, because you see so much of you in them, but they also have so much of their own need and desire to create who they are individually," explained Kate to Haute Living when talking about what her children have taught her over the years.
And even though she's extremely busy with work and being a mom, Kate Hudson never sacrifices her laidback and always-chic style.
"My go-to outfit is jeans, heels and a T-shirt," she told Haute Living.
So when is she getting hitched to her man Matt, you ask?
The star opened up to the ladies on The View about her relationship with Matt Bellamy and explained that they're actually very content with their situation. She continued to say that their future wedding would probably be for her children. "We are in it. I think if we do get married it will be for the kids, really. For us, we're just happy," she said.
