“She’s so happy right now,” a close friend of Kate’s told OK! Magazine. “She’s recently said she’s ‘overjoyed’ about having another baby.”
She’s also happy to be back in action! After her doctor-ordered bed rest due to her morning sickness, Kate’s been enjoying having girlfriends over at Anmer Hall, the country home she shares with her husband, Prince William, 32, and their 16-month-old son, Prince George. “It was a very informal housewarming party,” the friend told OK!
But not everyone is happy she’s living in Amner Hall; Queen Elizabeth II preferred she stay in Kensington Palace but “Kate stood her ground,” the insider said, and “there’s been some tension” because of her decision!

The Duchess isn’t all too happy about how the Queen treats Prince George, either. “She’s said many times, ‘Mum treats her visits with him like a royal duty,’ as though he’s a prop for appearances rather than her cute little great-grandson!” her friend told OK! “She recently said that she hopes the Queen will ‘lighten up’!” Ouch!
“I’m not bending over backward for the Queen. I’ll host a party whenever I want,” Kate told friends.
As for the new royal baby, Kate and Will won’t be sharing the gender of the baby until the royal announcement and has painted the baby-to-be’s bedroom neutral! “She says she wants to keep it a surprise, just as she did with George,” the source said.
