Kate Middleton may not have had a royal upbringing, but as the mother to the future king of England, she’s making sure her children get the royal treatment!
Back in 2014, Kate and her husband Prince William decided to hire Maria Borrallo, a graduate of the prestigious British nanny school, Norland College, to be a nanny for their children. Maria can often be seen at the outskirts of royal photos, but RadarOnline.com has learned that the nanny is a huge influence in the children’s lives!
“She is a very private lady but she says little George and Charlotte are good with their Spanish, better than their English,” said Antonio Robledo, a hairdresser from Maria’s hometown of Valencia, Spain.
Antonio told Radar he has known Maria’s family for over 20 years, ever since he opened his salon just down the street from her home in 1992. “I have no daughter but for me she is like that,” Antonio told Radar.

According to the hairdresser, Maria was always made for a life in England, especially in a role that requires discretion. “You could always think she was English in her appearance and manner,” he said. “She was really shy.”
Even Maria’s family seems to have grown close to the young royals. For Princess Charlotte’s first appearance on the steps of St. Mary’s Hospital in London, the Spanish newspaper El Diario Vasco reported that Maria’s mother helped pick out the bonnet, booties, and sweater the newborn wore!
