Kathie Lee Gifford’s son Cody got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Erika Brown! The former NBC host boasted about the news on Instagram ahead of Mother’s Day.
Kathie, 65, shared a photo of her son and her future daughter-in-law kissing with the caption, “My son is engaged and I couldn’t be happier for him and Erika.”
Cody’s sister Cassidy was equally thrilled and took to Instagram share the news. She posted a picture that showed off Erika’s ring captioned, “So excited for what God has in store for these two. The most excited to welcome my already sister Erika into the craziness ❤️.”
Cassidy, 25, also commented on her mom’s post, “Still freaking out ❤️.”

Although the couple has been dating since May 2013, Erika, 27, revealed that she was shocked at the engagement. On her Instagram story, she wrote, “What started as a fairly normal weekend has turned into the BEST EVER. Couldn’t be happier!”
She also posted a playful photo holding wine glass captioned, “RING AROUND THE ROSÉ.” She used the hashtags “#thebestgiFFT” and “#loveisthegreatestgiFFt,” which is a nod to Kathie’s wine company GIFFT.
