Cut to commercial! Katie Couric was a guest on the Wendy Williams Show on Wednesday, March 20, where she got a wee bit embarrassed about her "ashy feet." Host Wendy Williams got a clear glimpse of the news anchor's feet on her Shoe Cam and couldn't help but make fun of her friend's toes.

One of the daily traditions on the Wendy Williams Show is when a guest plops their feet on the famous "Shoe Cam" and the audience can see their great shoe styles.

It was time for Katie's feet to shine when she placed her black suede pumps on the floor for the cam.

"I've got some ashy feet going on," the 62-year-old explained. "I need some lotion!"

"Your feet are ashy, I must say. But it's okay! You have the sensible news woman look going on," Wendy added.

Katie also sported a black sweater, a white blouse and cropped dress pants for her appearance. She explained why she was dressed the way she was and why she wore her shoes.  Katie replied, "They are comfortable!  I have a busy day so I need to be comfortable!"
