While 13 is considered a milestone birthday, Tom, 56, was not around to celebrate his youngest child's big day.
Katie, 40, played protective mama as she helped escort Suri and her two friends out of a restaurant in Soho.

Katie took photos of her daughter and her friends at the intimate dinner. The girls wore bright colored sundresses and matching Susan Alexandra handbags.
While Suri's mother is attached at her hip, Tom has not been seen with the 13-year-old since 2013 — a year after he and Katie divorced. The Top Gun star is reportedly allotted 10 days to visit each month within their legal agreements but "chooses not to because she is not a Scientologist."
