Katie Holmes took a phone call while out and about in New York City and even stayed in disguise when she took the subway to get to where she needed to go. Keep reading to hear more about her time in New York and how she's been trying to get ex-husband Tom Cruise to see their daughter, Suri.
The Dawson's Creek star wore a long denim skirt, tied with a snakeskin print belt, a casual tee, a beige tote and black circle sunglasses while she chatted on the phone.
She was seen without her longtime beau, Jamie Foxx , nor her 12-year-old daughter, Suri.
Suri and her mom were in Paris earlier this month for Fashion Week and had a blast hanging out together as mother and daughter. They went to the Louvre and had fancy dinners around the city.

After her trip, the mother of one came home to The Big Apple. While in New York, Katie also flew under the radar when she rode the subway. She blended in with other city goers as she curled up with a book and shielded her eyes with big sunglasses. Her daughter did not travel with her.
According to RadarOnline, Suri and Tom have a strained relationship which can be remedied if they visited each other. Katie has been trying to set this up and has been contacting the Mission: Impossible-Fallout actor through a series of heartbreaking letters, calls and voicemails. Looks like Tom wants to be back in his baby girl's life.
