Katie Holmes recently turned heads at LAX airport when she debuted a brand new pixie cut. And now the actress reveals the reason behind the dramatic new ‘do. And no, it has nothing to do with her relationship with Jamie Foxx!
Many wondered whether the reason behind the former Dawson’s Creek actress’s new haircut had something to do with her relationship with her Oscar-winning boyfriend.
While the two went public with their relationship just last month, they raised eyebrows when they attended Fashion Week separately.
But, rest assured, all is well with the couple. The actress revealed that she chopped off her hair for an inspiring new role!

“I’m getting ready to play a woman in a movie called The Doorman,” she told People. “She’s an ex-Marine and she’s a warrior. I’m excited. I’m training. I’m sore.”
Her stylist DJ Quintero was also impressed. He said, “We were trying to find a balance between something feminine but kicka** cause she’s working really hard — her body looks incredible.”
Warrior Katie! Does this mean we’ll see her and Jamie, who’s also known to go hard in the gym, go toe to toe a movie together?
