Katie Holmes emerged from her Manhattan apartment alone last night wearing an incredible pair of leather pants and smart white shirt out to dinner with friends.

We've grown so accustomed to seeing her with daughter Suri, it was almost shocking to see the actress actually take time out for herself.
The latest wave in TomKat rumors revolves around Suri's name. A source told CelebDirtyLaundry.com that Katie is so tired of both "Suri" and Cruise" that she's been calling her Scout and plans to formally change her last name to Holmes.
