Katie Holmes was a vision in navy blue on the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie Touched With Fire. She had a bit of an uncomfortable conversation with Matt Lauer, earlier that day, about her ex-husband’s, Tom Cruise, infamous interview.
Tom and Matt had a heated argument over the use of antidepressants back in 2005. As a devout Scientologist, Tom was adamantly against the drugs.
Katie’s, 37, role in her film might put her ex on high alert as she plays a bipolar poet.

“The movie asks the question, is it beneficial to treat these people with drugs,” the Today host, 58, said. “You and I both remember a heated discussion I got into on that subject here in this studio. How do you think the movie comes down on that? Where do you think it leads the viewer?”
Katie avoided any mention of her ex and said, “What I think our director did a wonderful job with is this movie just kind of shows, this is it.”
She continued, “These are these two characters in a love story, which he’s saying is kind of its own mania, to fall in love. But he puts the question of there for the audience to make that decision.”
