'So Blessed!' Katie Holmes STUNS In Revealing New Interview Following Surprise Split From Jamie Foxx
Katie Holmes is looking stunning on Town & Country’s latest issue, and the actress doesn’t hold back when talking about her daughter Suri as well as life in the public eye.
The actress, who reportedly split from Jamie Foxx just one month after a lavish Mexico getaway, said about raising her 10-year-old, “My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now. It’s very important that I’m present and she has a stable, innocent childhood.”
“I feel so blessed to do what I do, but there’s nothing in the world better than watching your child succeed,” she continued.

Suri, who attends a private school in Manhattan, certainly seems to be grounded especially in her education, and a source told RadarOnline last year, "The other parents haven’t been given any special instructions about having Suri as a classmate to their children. They were never told not to talk to the press or to treat Suri differently. She's just like all the other parents at the school." Sounds pretty normal to us!
Still, being famous is not always so normal, as Katie is the first to admit. She told Town & Country, “In today’s world a lot of celebrities probably shield their children from the tabloids; in my household we know what they print isn’t true, so we don’t pay attention. There are more important things… if people know who you are, they might write about you, and you can’t control that.”
