What to do a sunny day in NYC when everyone else is wearing sandals? Pull up those socks and make a fashion statement, of course! Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise showed off their interesting style choice yesterday on a particularly lovely and warm day in the Big Apple.

While Katie went for striped socks and some Mary Jane pumps, Suri followed the cue of embarrassing dads everywhere with her pulled-up black socks and flats.
