Katy Perry brought the drama! The newly single singer was one of the first to grace the red carpet at the MET Gala in New York City Monday night, and she did not disappoint.

Going completely avant-garde, Katy brought her A-game in this bizarre but utterly cool red ensemble. And she even had 'Witness' on her forehead.

She matched her look with a bold red lip and showed off her new haircut which she got shortly after her split from Orlando Bloom.

So why was Katy so early to the gala? She's not just there to show off her unique sense of fashion. She's also the co-host of this year’s event honoring Comme des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo, who is known for her over-the-top fashion looks.
