Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter were spotted in New Orleans on July 23 as production continues on Bill & Ted Face The Music. They brought an acoustic guitar to the set, which could mean the dynamic duo will attempt to fulfill their destiny as would-be rockers, 28 years after the last Bill & Ted film.

The John Wick actor, 54, wore a salmon button-down shirt and a pair of gray slacks as he carried an acoustic guitar.

Alex, 53, sported his iconic “Wyld Stallyns” t-shirt and a pair of jeans.

Joining Keanu and Alex on the big screen are Anthony Carrigan, Kristen Schaal, Amy Stoch, Hal Landon Jr., and Beck Bennet.

The first two movies Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey came out in 1989 and 1991, respectively.

According to IMDB, the third installment in the Bill & Ted film series is about “2 would-be rockers from San Dimas, California find themselves as middle-aged dads still trying to crank out a hit song and fulfill their destiny,” which is to “save the universe during a time-traveling adventure.”

Keanu and Alex were seen filming the upcoming movie on July 2, as shooting kicked off on July 1.
