Keeping It Real! Chrissy Teigen Says She’s Been Struggling Lately
Although Chrissy Teigen enjoys poking fun at her husband John Legend, she took a different approach when opening up about her recent struggles. In a tweet on Sunday, October 27, Chrissy, 33, shared with fans that John, 40, went above and beyond to lift her spirits when she was feeling down.
According to her social media post, the model admitted that she hasn’t been feeling like herself lately. In an effort to turn her day around, John took a flight on his least favorite airline to spend time with his wife.
“I do not normally brag about John, as it is my schtick to make fun of him always, but he flew from London to LA instead of London to DC to have dinner with me and watch Love IslandUK because I haven’t been feeling like myself lately,” she wrote. “Just a few hours but it meant a lot. Thank u.” She continued, “AND he had to fly on his least favorite airline. That is love.”
In the past, Chrissy has voiced her struggles with postpartum depression. After giving birth to her daughter, Luna, in 2016, Chrissy struggled to find a balance in her everyday life. Back in May 2019, Chrissy admitted that she felt embarrassed by that chapter in her life.

"I felt bad about having postpartum depression because we had so many resources. John was great and helpful. My mom was here … I was embarrassed," she confessed at the time.
During the course of their relationship, John has found a way to be there for his wife. Last month, the couple enjoyed a date night at the premiere of Zach Galifianakis’ Netflix comedy film Between Two Ferns: The Movie. Before leaving the event, the couple took a moment to pose for the camera on the red carpet.
Career-wise, things continue to look up for the Sports Illustrated model. The mother of two has an upcoming show entitled Chrissy’s Court. While on Instagram, Chrissy teased the project. "Court is almost in session, benches #CHRISSYSCOURT," she wrote as her caption.
Chrissy revealed that her show will serve as a safe space for those who have something to say. "My mom is the bailiff and I cannot wait for her to say 'HEY YOU TALK TO THE JUDGE NOT EACH OTHER' and basically take selfies the entire time," she wrote. "If you’re mad about some petty a** s**t and wanna take that person to court, you let us know.”
