Keira Knightley, Misty Copeland, Mackenzie Foy, and more were photographed at the European premiere of Disney's The Nutcracker And The Four Realms movie in London, England on Thursday, November 1. Keep scrolling to see what everyone wore and who else attended.
Misty, who is a professional ballet dancer for the American Ballet Theatre, is the first African American woman to be promoted to principal dancer in ABT's 75-year history. Now, she is breaking even more barriers by playing the “ballerina princess” in the new Nutcracker film.
In an interview with the Associated Press at the premiere in LA, she said, "I just think it’s so special that as a black ballerina, my character is going to live on forever in this film and eventually little kids are going to look at that and say 'oh that’s what a ballerina looks like.'" The 36-year-old looked gorgeous in a black ruffled, high-low gown that she paired with black stilettos and minimal jewelry. She kept her hair styled down in loose curls.
Keira, who plays Sugar Plum in the film looked elegant in a romantic off-the-shoulder white gown. The ensemble featured a light pink ribbon around her waist and some gold detailing throughout the dress.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actress wore her hair pinned back into a sleek ballerina bun, which allowed her to show off the dangly silver earrings that she wore. Keira completed her outfit with a bold red lip and a fabulous dark smokey eye.
You may recognize Mackenzie from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, part 1 and 2. She played Edward and Bella's daughter, Renesmee. Six years later and she's staring in her own film as Clara in the new Nutcracker film. The 17-year-old went with the theme of the movie and wore a fairytale-like pink gown that featured an embroidery floral design and small red polka dots. She kept her brown locks in a half-up half-down hairstyle.
Ellie Bamber, who plays Louise in the film, looked like a real-life ballerina in a fluffy, pink mini dress that she paired with silver pumps. She completed her look with a pair of statement earrings and styled her hair into a bun.
