While attending this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas this weekend, Kelly Clarkson took a few moments to get candid about Carrie Underwood's recent miscarriage revelation. Read to see what she had to say.
The “Love So Soft” singer told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m so happy for her.”
She continued, “I didn’t know a lot of the situations that were going on behind the scenes, and I have a lot of friends that have gone through miscarriage several times as well.”
The 36-year-old then explained why Carrie utilizing her highly visible platform was so important. “It’s so important that you talk about it. I know you don’t have to because it’s a hard thing to do, but it makes women that feel inferior, or feel like something’s wrong with them, it makes them feel comfortable, and know that other people go through it,” Kelly explained.

As OK! readers know, just weeks after revealing she was expecting her second child with husband Mike Fisher, the “Love Wins” singer admitted she suffered three miscarriage in two years.
During an interview earlier this month, Carrie explained, “I’d kind of planned that 2017 was, you know, going to be the year that I work on new music, and I have a baby. We got pregnant early 2017, and didn’t work out.”
